The 10-fold List of God’s Love

The Bible is rife with evidence of God’s love for us. One very familiar verse is John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…”, another can be found in Ephesians 3:19, “…and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge…” and yet another in 1 John 3:1, “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God…”.

God’s love for us can be seen throughout Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. Apostle Paul, indelibly convinced of the love of God, summed up this Truth by presenting a 10-fold list in Romans 8:38-39, that illustrates the fullness of God’s love for us.

As it is written, “For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

God, because of His great love for us, did not hesitate to sacrifice what was most valuable to Him, so why would He allow anything to come between us and His love for us now?

Meditate on the 10-fold list of God’s love so that you may truly understand that absolutely nothing can come between you and God’s love because of Jesus.
