“God looks at the heart”

1 Samuel 16:7, as it is written,
“The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart!”

What is in your heart? Your outward appearance is of no consequence when it comes to God – God is not fooled, He is not impressed by your outward show; what matters to God is what’s in your heart.

What’s in your heart?

God is not looking at the things you’re looking at. Is your outward appearance more important to you than the condition of your heart? God does not consider your appearance; God does not consider your height, your weight, your looks, your clothes…God rejects the outward trappings, He looks beyond your physical stature and peers into your heart. God looks beyond your public presentation and searches your heart. God looks at the heart!

What’s in your heart?

Do you have a heart for God?

Are you Eliab, or are you David? What is in your heart? Are you Abinadab, or are you David? What is in your heart? Are you Shammah, or are you David? What is in your heart?

God is searching your heart. Have a heart for God and the things of God. Read His Word and plant it in your heart. God looks at the heart.

Amen †
