The situation just does not appear to be in line with what we know about God. And we begin to feel helpless, frustrated, abandoned and doubtful; we begin to not only question ourselves but we begin to question God, His intentions and His plans for our lives.
In times like these, we need to be reminded of God’s own declaration,
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways…As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways…As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
[Isaiah 55:8-9]
Beloved, when nothing makes sense, meditate on this passage of Scripture and be confident that even though you may not understand what God is doing, God knows what He is doing. His way is always the best way.

Instead of trying to figure out how it will all work out, trust God and know that it will.
