Turn Aside To See

So Moses said, “I must turn aside now and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burned up.” When the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him… (Exodus 3:3,4)

When Moses encountered the burning bush, he did not turn away from it; as a matter of fact Moses faced the fiery bush, turning towards it to “see this marvelous sight…”, and as Exodus 3:4 tells us, “when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look” it was only then that He spoke to Moses. 

Today, if you are faced with a situation that appears too hot for you to endure, the Lord wants you to know that He is in the midst of that fiery situation. So don’t run away, instead, like Moses, turn aside and look and listen for the voice of God in the midst of your circumstances. 

Acknowledge God’s presence within that situation and trust Him knowing that He is aware of all that you’re going through and will bring you out better than before.
