Sunday 15th May 2016 is Pentecost, the day we, as Christians, will commemorate the descent of the Holy Spirit, the supreme Gift of God, upon the twelve apostles and other followers of Christ. Are you, like the apostles, preparing to welcome the Holy Spirit of God into your life? Are you ready to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit?
“In a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit…” [Acts 1:5]
As Sunday approaches, you ought to get ready for the coming of the Person of the Trinity who desires to give to you a Life you’ve never before known.
For the next few days, meditate upon the Holy Spirit and pray for revelation of the deep things of God. Spirit will be speaking, so listen attentively to what is said to you, for it is written, “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says…” [Revelation 2:7] and you will be given the right to eat from the Tree of Life.
May Almighty God bless you now with wisdom and understanding as you seek enlightenment from His Holy Spirit who speaks out of the depths of His own wisdom, the precious Truth of God. Amen†
